Runta CLI

The runta CLI manages runtime lifecycle, command execution, files, checkpoints, egress policy, and secrets.

Command Groups

Group	Commands
Install and Configuration	Install the CLI, configure RUNTA_TOKEN, and verify runta is available.
Lifecycle	Create, list, inspect, resize, pause, resume, stop, and delete runtimes.
Command Execution	Run commands inside a runtime with runta exec.
Files	Copy files or directories between the local machine and a runtime with runta cp.
Checkpoints	Create, restore, list, and delete runtime checkpoints.
Egress	Manage runtime egress denylists and allowlists.
Secrets	Store tenant secret values and manage secret stubs.

Commands

runta run	Create a new runtime.
runta ps	List runtimes.
runta exec	Run a command inside a runtime.
runta inspect	Show detailed runtime information.
runta rm	Remove one or more runtimes.
runta shutdown	Shut down a runtime.
runta boot	Boot a stopped runtime.
runta pause	Pause a running runtime.
runta resume	Resume a paused runtime.
runta resize	Resize runtime resources.
runta checkpoint	Manage runtime checkpoints through the CLI checkpoint command group.
runta cp	Copy files between the local machine and a runtime.
runta egress	Manage per-runtime egress controls.
runta secret	Manage tenant stored secret values and secret stubs.
